SOLD

We've finally accepted an offer on the house. It is lower than we want, but we decided our sanity was worth a few thousand pounds to us. It is almost impossible to judge the actual market value of the property anyway because so few have sold, and none are really comparable to ours.
So, it's fingers crossed for a smooth transaction. And I'm off now to do a project plan. And sort out my mixed feelings. I love this house, but we need to move on and find some countryside to play in.
I'm looking forward to SOI. I need that creative environment.

Still here ...

Sorry I've been quiet of late. We went to Norfolk to stay with friends at the weekend. They moved house earlier this year. We went for walks through fields in the sunshine. We were jealous.
Meanwhile the estate agent kept phoning with offers that eventually reached a figure still some way below what we are asking. We turned it down, but now ... I don't know. I hate this business. It is so incredibly stressful and we have not even started yet.
Today I have my interview with the University of Central England at Birmingham for the part-time art foundation. This involves 3 hours travelling on the train for a half hour chat. But the idea of doing art is one of the few things keeping me sane at the moment.
