Well, what else could I draw but these gorgeous blooms from our garden? I enjoyed the smell while I was drawing them, too. I'm pleased with my attempts to draw these, but disappointed with the watercolour. I'm not sure that I'm cut out for watercolour.

Nobody is cut out for watercolour ... the first few times that you use it. Then gradually it all falls into place. Just keep at it.

Wise words. Like everything, I just need more *practice*.
Carole,
These are very lovely, be patient with watercolor, I also have just started using it, and it is not an easy medium to master. Hang in there, your are right "practice" is the operative word here! Some of the group are taking Kate Johnson's watercolor class on line, I am thinking about doing that myself, I can see their work improving.
