Hi I really liked that slipper with the view you have sometimes it's hard to get the 3d effect. or volume. you did a great job.
In regards to your scanner. You might have the setting on color smoothing. That would cause the look you have.

Lydia - thanks for the tip about the scanner. I'll have a dig around in the settings.

I have found that my scanner does not do a good job with colored pencils. Not sure if you were using them, but I end up taking a photo to use for posting.

Thank you! I am using pencils so maybe a camera would work better. I'll give it a go.
